Most of the time, when I fish, I fish on the water. But sometimes, work, or distance, or cost, or something else gets in the way and I fish from my chair, or my desk, or my couch. Usually it involves some photos, or a video, or long article. The other night, it was a series of photos text-messaged to me by my uncle — an outdoorsman like no other — from Alberta, Canada, of trout fishing on the Elbow River.
What became clear to me quite quickly was this: If I lived this close to trout water this beautiful, I’d likely be living in a trailer. It’s just too darn beautiful.
Thanks, Mike, for the photos!
Wow! Great work Ben! Come here and fish!
Thanks, Lisa. Would love to come visit and fish out there sometime!
