Earlier this year, I went trout fishing on the Deerfield River in Western Mass. My companion for the day was my good friend Rob Robillard, the Boston Globe handyman columnist and creator behind A Concord Carpenter. Our guide was the talented Eric Gass of GS Outfitting. I didn’t get any trout on camera, unfortunately, but we got tight to fish and had a great day. Here’s some video from the day.
