This morning, I’m sitting at my desk, still working down my coffee, when I get the following message:

“Dude. I caught 14 albies from shore this morning.”

Had I not had a stable mug, I would have spilled all over myself. 14 albies — from shore? That’s ridiculous. And I hope it’s a sign of what September will bring.
