Video: Grand Cascapedia Atlantic Salmon Fly Fishing 2016

Last year, I made my annual trip north to the Grand Cascapedia to chase Atlantic salmon. We fished for a few days solo, and for a day with the talented guide David Bishop, and his dog Forest. Though the water was low, we saw lots of fish, and caught a few.

This year, I brought a drone and captured some video that demonstrates just how beautiful this place truly is. Hope you enjoy!

Here’s an aerial view of lower-end of the river, including the town of Cascapedia-St. Jules, as well as Maria and New Richmond in the distance, toward mouth of the river.
